On March 29th, LYAA sponsored a free hitting clinic for Bronco & Pony registered players. Forty two players took advantage of this and below are a few responses from parents that attended:
Thanks for setting these clinics up for us. I thought Tom connected with all the kids very well. I picked up some good pointers which I will use with my team. Thanks again, Kyle Weller
"thought it was really good. The kids all seemed to like it and you could see better swinging form in just that short time. The parents all thought it was great also. I liked the idea of using wood bats for practice (heavier - strength building), I plan on incorporating that. He was great with the kids".
"Christian enjoyed the clinic I was surprised that only 2 other kids from his team went. I would assume that the fielding clinic would be the most effective if a majority of the team attends it."
"Not sure why anyone would pass up the opportunity. I would be willing to have him go for the classes that they are offering maybe hitting and pitching. Fielding only if they can get more of the team to participate".
"I wasn't able to attend with Jeffrey but he stated he enjoyed it very much".
Mike,
"Hitting clinic was great. Michael liked it very much and the changes he suggested worked well. We tried them out more today. I am going to try and send him back for more positive reinforcement of the basics they taught yesterday".

Mike,
"I thought that Tom did a great job. I know that Jarrod felt like he learned a couple of things and I know that I did. Those miner adjustments make a big difference".
Regards,
Joe
"We thought the clinic was very good. We feel that it is always good to learn different techniques".
Thanks

Hi,
My son Torrey was at the hitting clinic on Saturday and really liked it. He was a bit nervous at first, but the coaches quickly put him at ease.
Torrey is planning on attending the clinic in May and provided his baseball schedule allows, he would like to take additional classes in Mt Prospect.
Thanks for the opprotunity,
Bonnie
