Curriculum Introduction

The purpose of Lakes Youth Athletic Association is to provide the opportunity to learn to play and enjoy the game of baseball. As such, each level has established an instructional curriculum in addition to the guidelines and rules under which all divisions are operated.

This curriculum will provide the framework for all managers and coaches to follow in developing the skills and knowledge that Lakes Youth Athletic Association wants every player to master at each level in addition to providing structure and consistency for both the coaches and the players. It also provides the parents of players in the league a better understanding of what their child is being taught at each level of play.

The LYAA Pinto League is an instructional league designed to give provide participants with the basic fundamentals and skills to be successful in the future. This league is a coaches pitch league and provides the opportunity for participants to play six innings of non-competitive baseball.
